““Mitch? Mitch? Mitch, wake up! I’m pregnant, Mitch!” she announced, almost like an impatient kid waking her mom up for breakfast to befed her.



“Huh? Wha...what was it? You’re pregnant! Yo-o-ou’re pregnant?” was all he managed to say. Golly! Mitch did not even know how or where to begin sorting out the pool of emotions which he had suddenly encountered upon hearing the somewhat whimsical phrase. Lei woke him up at 3 o’clock in the morning with the news that she was pregnant.
